Ebook creation
Our final taught session was on creating simple ebooks using issuu.com.
Here is the book I created.
Another but a lot more complex tool that we did not have time to use to create interactive ebooks is joomag. Links to this and other ebook creating tools can be found here.
Adding subtitles
It our final day.
We finished yesterday looking at a photot editing website. The site allowed us to crop, add text and add effects. It was called Lunapic.
We started today looking at Amara.org, which adds subtitles to videos. You watch the video and can add subtitles as required. O have practiced using a French video on colours and have added the English words.

Afternoon survey
This afternoon e started looking at Surveymonkey.com. It is a very simple and easy to your survey design site. I created one about what other participants enjoyed about the Krakow and the course. Click here to take survey
Hero, has also made a survey all about me. Probably doesn't show me in the best light - but it is nice to know I have made an impression. Click hereto take this survey!
With this tool, teachers need can register for free. Remember to register as 'an administrator for educational use'. This gives you free but limited access.
Classmarker enables you to set questions to your class. Unfortunately, for the class to use they need to also register. There are 5 times of test available. You can assign this test to groups of studentsby sending them and e-mail.
This might be blocked by some filters. It is best to check with the administrator that you can use this package. Students may need to do this on seperate computers away from networks. This tool is designed for online/distance learners.
Creating Timelines
This morning with have been using Dipity to create timelines. This can be a collaborative tool if each user has an account. This means to create a class timeline each student would need their own log in. With the free account you can make a maximum of 3 timelines.
Here is one detailing what events have been happening whilst I was in Poland. Again this is not completed (yet!)
We also created a shared timeline about memorable moments:
My week in Krakow on Dipity.
Memorable happening in my life on Dipity.

helloslide.com
The last session of day three was looking at helloslide.com. We had a couple of problems finding a suitable PDF so the outcome is not great!
You can only use PDF to upload. You can create your own PDF's in the later versions of Words and use the 'Save as' function. If you create your own PDF's you need to make sure the page is set up as landscape.
Each page in the PDF document acts as a slide in a presentation and you can add audio by typing words.
hot and spicynodes.org
This afternoon, we have been using Spicynodes.org.
This is a tools to help brainstorm activities. It is not a collaborative tool and only one user can add information. But videos and images can be added.
Here is one I completed on Parks around Europe.
Session: spicynodes learning activities: create a brainstorm.
